About us
Wesley Dalmar provides homes for children and young people who cannot live with their families by recruiting, training and supporting Foster Carers.
Wesley Dalmar Foster Carers are mature, child focused and committed to providing a safe, secure and loving environment for the children or young people in their care.
The quality of the service provided can best be summed up in a comment from a 5-year-old Central Coast Foster Care client when moving to a new placement, "Can I go to a Dalmar carer please... because they care more".
Wesley Dalmar is part of Wesley Mission and has been providing care for children and young people since 1893. We have grown through the many challenges and changes in the care of children and young people and now support 200 children and young people living in the care of approved foster families.

Our focus
The Primary focus of Wesley Dalmar is the welfare and best interest of the child or young person. Wesley Dalmar Services are based on a belief in the worth of every child and young person. We aim to make a difference in their lives by enhancing their skills, opportunities, knowledge and safety in a family environment.

Our programs
Wesley Dalmar offers Permanent, Temporary, Respite and Residential Care for children age from 0 to 18 years and Aftercare support for young people who have been in care until they are 25.

Our foster carers
Many different people become foster carers. You can be a couple or single. You need to be mature and possess relevant life experience. The main qualities we look for are a genuine interest in children, flexibility, commitment, ability to relate to children and young people and a willingness to have the child's interests at heart.
