Central Coast Getting It Together Program
The Getting It Together (GIT) program, funded by NSW Community Services, is an early intervention strategy primarily for young people 18 or under with alcohol and/or drug misuse problems. GIT workers use an intensive case management approach to assist these young people to address a range of issues relating to income support, health, mental health, homelessness, justice, education, employment and relationships. It is acknowledged that young adults 19-24 may experience difficulties accessing such services; therefore some flexibility exists for providing services to these older clients.
