‘Care and Compassion’ – Bill Harding - “Mission Aviation Fellowship”

It’s true that many base success on the career we have, the house we live in and even the car we drive.

On this week’s Wesley Impact! program we see how in world terms Bill Harding had it all.

He gained a pilot’s licence at just 21, before his admission to the bar. He then practiced aviation, banking and financial law in Auckland and Toronto for eight years before God’s plan was revealed.

After handing his life over to Christ, Bill Harding left his city law career in the early 1990’s and has become a ‘high flyer’ for Mission Aviation Fellowship, a worldwide ministry that distributes medical care, emergency relief, and long term development programs in countries ravaged by natural disasters, political unrest and war.

Bill Harding

Bill Harding shares how God wastes nothing, even selfish ambitions and plans, adding it was “his aviation and law careers that have been vital to his leading role at MAF.

Keith and Bill

Bill shares with Keith that while he was once ‘wealthy’ in his old life, he is now ‘rich’ as he operates in the will and call of God for his life.

Wesley Mission – ‘Out of Home Care.’

Helping others to find hope in life is also our focus at Wesley Mission.

The term charity begins at home has a whole new meaning for Vicki after she called Wesley Mission for much needed respite.

Liz Cole joins us from the North Coast of New South Wales.

On this week’s show Liz sings “Awake”

Her song really highlights Bill’s journey.  There are no accidents!  When Bill recommitted his life to God, He turned Bill’s mistakes into blessings.

Liz has also just released her latest album called ‘Daughter of the King’.

Mother’s Day Special – “Sam’s Heart”

On Wesley Impact! this week we share a very special Mother’s Day story.

At 28, Nicole Watson was faced with a choice: to terminate or to give birth to a child with half a heart.

What followed has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, a family relocation to specialist hospitals and seeing God’s faithfulness amid this toddler’s ongoing fight for survival.
